You an experienced IT professional who is excited about providing outstanding support for Finance System.  Passionate about delivering great customer service. Have supported a multicounty implementation of Oracle eBusiness Suite R12. You are an experienced Oracle R12 technical expert, with a history of delivering support and development to a user base distributed across Europe.

This pivotal European role could be just the opportunity for you! You will be a key part of a small but effective team supporting our mission critical Oracle Finance applications across our European business including household names such as Superdrug, Rossmann, Kruidvat, Mariaunnaud & The Perfume Shop.

Be the voice of customers and orchestrate the organisation to live the brand purpose and inspire a customer-first culture to build customer love in every touchpoint of our online & offline platform.

📅Here's the exciting bit… A day includes:

. Reporting to the Group Manager of European Finance Systems.

. Maintain effective support to the EU Finance functions as required, including the liaising across all IT functions and our external partners on the resolution of issues.

. Delivering support services which meet (and ideally exceed!) our agreed KPIs and measures.

. Provide special focus to the UK Business Units with support for several of their local Finance Applications include Bottomline (for invoices), Accurate for bank reconciliation & Experian (PTX) for Payments.

. To coordinate the provision of financial reports and analysis through the EU Finance management team and supporting staff. To manage the provision of financial management information and analysis to Corporate Finance.

. Manage the acceptance of projects into Business-as-Usual support.

. Ensure the European Finance Systems are audit compliant.

. Generate detailed customer focused initiatives, in line with the finance department strategy and support with execution. Listen to the customer and implement new ideas and ways of working which are designed to improve service considering both Online and Offline. Whilst ensuring the team prioritises actions which delight the customer/team member.

Have 2+ years’ experience working in a formal ITIL based support environment.
Broad understanding of Financial systems & processes including GL (General Ledger), P2P (Procure to Pay), AR (Accounts Receivable) & FA (Fixed Assets)Establish strong relationships at all levels.

🛠️ Technical Skills:

. 5+ years supporting Oracle EBS R12.2.

. Ability to respond to technical incidents.

. Strong technical skills in sql, plsql, UNIX scripting, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, Forms Personalization.

. Good knowledge of Oracle Applications Development Standards.

. Ability to discuss functional issues with users, with a good level of understanding. 

. Experience of TOAD/Oracle SQL Developer.

🎯Desirable Skills:

Experience of working in a European environment.

Proficient in MS Excel and Word.

Support of other finance systems including Bottomline, Accurate, and Experian. .

Helping your team understand when to use AI, when to rely on human judgment, and how to combine both.

Rethinking how work gets done - Actively shifting work from repetitive tasks to higher-value activities as AI takes on routine work.

Role modelling behaviours to encourage confidence with AI. Actively developing your ability to use AI effectively and think critically about outputs.
