We are looking to recruit a Super User at Dunstable Distribution Centre in the Stock Control department.
Successful applicants will be:
Play a key role in progressing and maintaining site inventory accuracy and stability
Control, and maintain an in-depth knowledge of weekly shrinkage by analysing daily adjustments, using WINS, Retek and weekly shrinkage reports.
Play a key role in supporting, advising and controlling stock in /out for recalls and returns
Support of key stock control functions for resource and troubleshooting such as sin bin, slotting and damages.
Communicate with supply chain by email and phone regarding stock queries, providing a fast and professional service
Lead and support the Layout team with seasonal relays and warehouse layout improvement projects
Manage and support SC team ensuring targets and KPI’s are met
Ability to think of new processes, implement and develop them
Awareness of KPI’s and cost efficiencies, understanding the DC performance and their role within delivering the budget for the site.
Manages their own time to deliver end goals.
Fully understand all policy, processes & procedures in your area; acting as a source of expertise to support colleagues throughout the daily operation·
Own Safe Systems of work within the area that you are responsible for, ensuring 100% compliance amongst the team
Be an ambassador for driving good health & safety practices within the area that you work
Assisting the Team Leader with ad hoc projects, reports and people management activities when required
Deputise as Team Leader when required
Working flexibly to meet the demands of the business
Proven experience within a distribution environment or similar·
Ability to communicate and engage effectively with team and colleagues
Good IT skills
40 hours per week
