To be the expert in all Warehouse management systems (Cognos, Retek and WINS) and provide support
to the Distribution management team. Responsible for SLA management of third party systems providers, ensuring clear communication for systems call logging, testing, resolution and error prevention.
Daily administration and maintenance of the Warehouse management system.
Be responsible for logging all system faults with the third party supplier and communicate resolution times to the Business.
Be the expert in understanding the system capabilities and seek to improve performance that is in line with the Business expectations.
Create, maintain and update system reports that will support Business performance.
Use the testing environment to find resolutions to existing system issues and deliver these to the operation.
Implement system changes as and when requested by the operation.
Use Retek to understand systemic errors to identify resolution steps.
Provide out of hours and weekend support to support the operation.
Communicate effectively to the senior management team on any system failures including estimated recovery time frames and identify future solutions to prevent anomalies reoccurring.
Maintain Assembly voice pick equipment and issue to pick buddies and Assembly management team when required.
