An exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Learning Designer looking to lead, influence and create digital learning content for a vibrant and fast paced well-known high street retailer. 
We’re looking for a creative who takes responsibility for eLearning from inception to delivery and ensures projects reflect our corporate brand, culture and values. You will have the ability to pick up and run with multiple projects, each with varying deadlines, and delivered on time and to a high standard.
You’ll be an excellent communicator, confident working with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders at all levels. You’ll ideally have experience in using Adobe tools to create graphics, audio and video content, and a dab hand at creating infographics, games and animations.

Key Responsibilities
•Lead on the creation of high quality online learning content for e-learning and blended learning courses
•Build engaging digital experiences, taking concepts from idea through to launch
•Create modules using rapid authoring tools such as; GOMO, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise 
•Use a variety of techniques to define and sequence instructional content, including using sound strategies for selecting appropriate delivery methods and content sources for blended programmes
•Develop and plan work, managing projects and deliverables to agreed timescales, typically from 3 days up to 2 months
•Build strong relationships with stakeholders to manage, influence and define new projects 
•Design various solutions for learning content to drive maximum engagement and embed learning with freedom to use initiative within defined frameworks
•Support the Learning Technologies Administrator and deputise for Digital Learning Design Manager when required

Other Responsibilities
•Seek out and devise plans to test content, courses and technical approaches, making recommendations as appropriate
•Support the planning, shooting, and editing of video and images for incorporation into e-learning courses
•Produce and maintain key content documentation including content outlines, storyboards, asset lists, transcripts

What you’ll need to succeed

•Excellent standard of English, grammar and copywriting skills
•Strong project management skills and ability to multitask on a number of different projects 
•Self-sufficient and able to manage own time
•A sound knowledge and application of established e-learning methodologies (ISD, ADDIE); current research, theory and practice of instructional design, and web based eLearning standards and specifications (SCORM, xAPI, HTML)
•Experience of technical writing, curriculum development, course design and evaluation methods within a virtual/e-learning environment
•A good working knowledge of industry-standard e-learning development/authoring software tools (e.g. GOMO, Articulate); and knowledge of mobile learning principles (e.g. responsive web design)
•Experience of applying sound quality assurance practices to ensure the learning solution achieves the organisations goals
•Experience using creative tools for image/video creation such as Adobe Creative Suite
•The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to ensure the learning interventions are aligned with the learning outcomes/assessment criteria
•Use of own initiative when recommending course/content developments
