Be an integral part of the IT HR Systems team that delivers the products and solutions for the HR team across the AS Watson UK businesses (Superdrug, Savers and The Perfume Shop). In this role you’ll develop and support solutions primarily for Oracle HRMS 12.2 and the applications it works alongside.

Here's the exciting bit…a day includes

Working in the IT team alongside a senior developer and functional support analysts
· Develop, test, and implement small functionality changes
· Work as part of project teams on future upgrades and implementations of HR applications
· Design, write, implement, and support current and new BI reports
· Working alongside the People (HR) team and Finance to maintain their applications and provide solutions
· Support the Service & Delivery Manager with development and support for the group office

What you’ll need:

·
Experience of using SQL for report writing & querying databases
· Experience of working with Oracle HMRS or similar software
· Experience of PL/SQL preferred
· Experience of using developer tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD or similar
· Knowledge of interfaces, SFTP and XML and CSV file construction
· Experience of BI Publisher and report development an advantage
· Familiarity with standard project life cycle process
· Strong interpersonal skills between peers, users and third parties
· Proactive and enquiring nature, with a willingness to take on a range of responsibilities
· Strong troubleshooting skills
· Proven ability to work in a complex and varied technical environment, with a willingness to investigate new ideas and technologies
