To coordinate the successful delivery of the AS Watson UK investment programme across all functions and fascias, through a continuous process of improving productivity and cost benefits.

Key Accountabilities

Development of investment programme
• Creation of timelines to deliver the investment programme
• Project management of key work streams
• Coordination of investment programme initiatives
• Communication and cross function coordination with key depts/facias
• Designing flexibility into the programme to meet changing commercial needs.
• Programme targeted and adjusted to achieve investment milestones

Project Planning and Implementation

• Design and continuous improvement of project specific process maps
• Management of phasing process for all project types
• Onsite visits and planning meetings with key players
• Communication of project timelines and issues
• Control and apportioning of structured project budgets
• Resource allocation in line with project needs
• Multi site project planning and implementation
• On site management for key projects
• Adaptable approach to projects and problem solving
• Coordination of key onsite activities for smooth transition
• Maximising commerciality during project transition
• CDM enforcement and risk assessment
• Review process applied to all project types

Store Development
• Continuous development of store process and procedures
• Support in design / build for Concept projects
• Store standards continuous improvements
• Driving of best practice and new initiatives
• Support for retail teams across fascias
• Creation of centres of excellence

Cost Management
• Development of cost structure
• Allocation of individual project budgets
• Accurate forecasting of projects to manage costs
• Management of work stream costs
• Control and review of reporting process
• Control of 3rd party costs
• Completion of audit trail for all costs
• Maximising programme efficiencies to reduce costs
• Ongoing development of timelines to maximise productivity
• Review process and performance tracking

Regional Support
• Weekly Regional update via conference call
• Regular one to one updates with Regional Manager
• Management of Regional programmed workload
• First point of contact for Regional team programme issues
• Regular Attendance of Regional meetings
• Manage and develop Regional merchandising teams

Resource Management
• Core department resource support and development
• 3rd party resource management
• Planning of resource allocation
• P.D.R process completion with key team
• Review process for all 3rd party suppliers
• Management of P.S.M’s
• Management of central office functions
• Review and development of central helpdesk function
• Recruitment process for internal and external support
• Performance management for all team members
• Management and maintaining of department SLA’s
• Implementation of best place to work initiatives

What you’ll need to succeed
• Experience gained within a similar role
• Commercial/Retail Head Office experience
• Team Player and Good interpersonal skills
• Educated to ‘GCSE’ Level standard
• Professional appearance and ability to Communicate with Senior Management
