Role Purpose:

The Insights Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of key projects which support our Insights strategy at Superdrug; making Insights and Research accessible for both our internal teams and external clients.



Key Responsibilities:

Lead projects from requirements gathering through to delivery, identifying schedule, scope and implementation plans

Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure projects are fit for purpose and delivered according to plan

Working closely with the Insight and Research Analysts on strategic projects to ensure they meet objectives and deliver maximum impact

Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and methodologies, identifying possible opportunities to apply these in the team.

Alongside the Senior Insights Manager and Senior Research Manager, building and maintaining relationships with selected agencies and partners, tendering for new services and handling contract renewals etc.

Developing business understanding to identify opportunities for new reports, insight projects and tools to address previously unidentified gaps

Working collaboratively with other members of the Insights team to develop the team’s strategy.

Supporting the Senior Insights Manager and Senior Research Manager in long-term and short-term workload planning and resource management.


Stakeholders include: 

Internal – Buying, Marketing, CRM, E-Commerce, Merchandising, Store Teams, Commercial Finance 
External – Suppliers (Multinational FMCG companies) and Research Agencies

What you’ll need:

3+ Years working in a project management role, ideally within data/insights
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) 
Enthusiastic personality, proactive and willing to challenge the status quo
Experience of Microsoft Office Products including Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working with all levels of management


Desirable: 

Experience delivering in-house platforms for Insights
SQL/R/Python programming experience
Tableau or other data visualisation tool experience
Retail or customer service experience (office or shop floor based)
