Here's the exciting bit…a day includes

•Develop and evolve the local data strategy and roadmap to support delivery of corporate objectives whilst working closely and align with the Group Data Teams and Strategy
•Develop and maintain appropriate Enterprise Architecture artefacts including; Entity Relationship Models, Data dictionary and taxonomy to aid data traceability
•Build and support the maintenance of the data solutions and information specified in the data framework
•Develop key performance measures for data integration and quality
•Working closely with providing guidance/best practice knowledge to the Business Analysts and MI Developers

Key Responsibilities 
•Proven experience with data storage technologies such as datalakes, data warehouses and traditional Oracle and SQL databases
•Strong knowledge of industry best practices around data architecture in both cloud based and on prem solutions.
•Understanding of architecture and design concepts for data exploitation solutions, such as Business Objects and Power BI
•Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills, in particular for problem solving/troubleshooting activities
•Experience with Azure Databricks would be beneficial
