Here's the exciting bit…a day includes
- Responsible for the delivery of healthcare strategy across 24 pharmacies across the Region including the Online Hub operation based in Northampton
• Delivery of the Regional Healthcare P&L
• Build relationship with local commissioners and professional bodies to improve service participation and raise brand credibility
• Drive high operational and professional standards across the region
• Provide professional advice and support for Region Group Managers, Area Managers and Store Managers
• Ensure that legal and ethical requirements are met in all pharmacies and wellbeing clinics
• Drive all three healthcare revenue streams; NHS income, private services and core healthcare
• Lead Pharmacy Managers and Pharmacists to deliver planned profits and the star pharmacy and clinic programme
• Working very closely with resourcing, L&D and HR to deliver Healthcare HR strategy
• Develop and maintain internal and external networks which builds the profile of Superdrug Pharmacy and wellbeing clinic and helps secure additional revenue streams
• Develop Pharmacy Managers and Pharmacists through ongoing coaching and training
• Team performance development reviews
• Accessible mentor to the pharmacy teams throughout their Superdrug career

Person specification:
Retail management with knowledge a strong knowledge of pharmacy operations
Knowledge of NHS structure and local commissioning stakeholders
Post qualification experience or field management experience
Strong communication skills
Influencing skills
Planning and Organising
Professionalism
Full driving licence
