This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
You are the marketer for the Health Own brand and Exclusive business. This is split into two parts 1) own brand health product portfolio and 2) exclusive product portfolio covering core brands and NPDs. You will also be handling other tactical / special OB Health and Core Own Brand projects. You will be reporting and accountable to marketing on the performance of the health business.
Be Closest to the Customer: Working with the insight team, store colleagues and others you will be the closest to the customer, understanding the customer profiles of the healthcare business and looking for opportunities to reach customers who fit this profile but don’t shop with us.
Bring the Brand to Life: Working with the Healthcare team you will define the brand star for Health power brand such as Slenderplan, Core Health Own brand and Exclusive brands across different categories , create guidelines and make sure this comes to life in each touchpoint that it shows up to customers.
Create marketing assets: You will be accountable for creating assets to drive the Health Own Brand and Exclusive business, this will range from in store permanent materials, working with CRM materials team on materials, social media assets and beyond. You will be responsible for making sure these are on brand and bring new customers to the brand.
Be flexible to support broader OB on Healthcare: While Health power brands is the lead OB that we need to support this is a fast moving space and you will need to be flexible to support health care own brand behind the right opportunities
Support our Buyers, Exclusive Suppliers, Agencies and colleagues in stores: You will work with OB and Exclusive brand buyers to understand what opportunities within commercial and marketing needed for priority brands and NPD launches and ensure we have the best plans for key priority brands. This could range across different Marketing functions to creating assets with eLab, our in-house partner content company. You will also be working with different teams across Commercial, Marketing, PR and web team to ensure that Health Own Brand and Exclusive gets its share of voice in owned platforms.
Budget Support: Working with you B7 manage you will ensure that the budget is tracked and managed inline with spend and while delivering the best ROI.
Competitive tracking: Be the voice to the business of what else is happening in the industry, any latest trends, social media monitoring of key competitors.
This role is broad, the successful person needs to have a mentality of ‘if it’s happening on my brand then it is my business’ This role will be accountable for
Budget management: Tracking spend regularly to ensure no mis-management reporting any issues to your B7
Spend time in stores with the services team: Understanding what customers want and how marketing can help
You will report to marketing; This role will require integration equally with the broader marketing team as it does with the services team.
This person needs to have the following experience for this role
Creative and innovative approach: This is a relatively new business, we are looking for new ways to grow and bring our business to life for customers
Experience in building brands and creating marketing assets: This person will have had experience in developing marketing materials and bringing these to life across different channels
Comfortable in putting themselves out there, making connections with other parts of the business, this role requires you to build relationships with various parts of the business and so you need to be able to network in the organisation to get the best results for Health business
Be flexible, this is a fast paced ever changing retail environment, this person will need to move with pace to bring opportunities to life.
Attention to detail: Brands aren’t built in a day but they can be lost in a moment. This person needs to have a keen eye for detail, ensuring everything that we put in front of the customer is inline with the defined brand guidelines.
Adaptable and flexible approach to work.
Proficient in Microsoft programs, strong ability in excel is preferable but not required.
