Here's the exciting bit…a day includes

Working within the IT Corporate Technology function, the Oracle HCM Developer plays a crucial role in providing our HR and Payroll system users with a seamless experience to service our people, through the development and functional support of Oracle HCM (R12). This role reports to Service & Delivery Manager for AS Watson Health & Beauty UK.    

A typical day in this role includes:

•Key stakeholders include: The wider IT team, Payroll, Share Services & People Team’s for Superdrug and Savers and 3rd party consultants 
•Providing advice and guidance regarding the efficient use of Oracle HCM modules and their configuration
•Providing software changes and enhancements to meet changes in functionality, including legislative and fiscal changes
•Working in collaboration with project teams on future implementations of Oracle HCM modules
•Supporting our People and Payroll teams to get the most out of the system through recommendations and guidance
•Working alongside 3rd party consultants to design, implement and test modules of the Oracle HCM Suite
•Supporting the Oracle HCM support team to resolve calls and assisting them in troubleshooting, ensuring all incidents are worked through quickly and effectively

What you’ll need:

•Extensive technical knowledge and experience in Oracle HCM/HRMS version 12.1 or 12.2 (supporting a live payroll system would be an added advantage) 
•Experience in BI reporting – Splash BI is preferable
•You have good knowledge of pension auto-enrollment, 3rd party pension provider data extracts and integration
•Excellent SQL/PL knowledge with ability to design, develop and support fast formulas and other customisations
•Experience in upgrading Oracle HCM & Payroll and implementations including interfaces to legacy systems using API’s
•Good knowledge of Elements and Links, Fast Formulas, Work Structures, Security Profiles, KFF/DFF, Self Service Personalisation, Oracle Workflows.
