This is a 12 Month Contract

The HR Business Partner will champion employee experience and play a key role in supporting the delivery of People Team activity within Head Office, with a particular focus on business change programmes and organisational design. This role will work collaboratively with the wider Customer and People Team to put proactive plans in place which ensure we have the right skills and future people capabilities needed to deliver our goals and delight our customers. This role reports to the Senior People Manager for Superdrug Head Office. 

A typical day in this role includes:

 •Key stakeholders: Wider Customer & People team, Heads of Department and Senior Managers
•Managing full project lifecycles, ensuring key milestones are identified and communicated. Taking the time to agree measures of success up front and completing an evaluation after the project has ended
•Providing an honest ‘voice’ for our Head Office colleagues in all business led projects, to ensure initiatives and changes land effectively.
•Working in partnership with the Senior People Manager and Head Office leaders to understand the future roles and skills needed within their teams, putting proactive plans in place to deliver internal capability
•Supporting the Senior People Manager to identify and research potential initiatives to drive efficiencies, build capability and deliver innovation
•Working in partnership with the wider HO people team to temperature check each team, using this to inform and adapt your approach for any upcoming changes
•Working in collaboration with our IT and People Development teams to understand how technology can support our goals and bring our people on the journey effectively

•You understand that effective change management is key to landing any project well and can anticipate potential risk, putting plans in place to mitigate impact
•You are good at multitasking and can deliver on projects, keeping to agreed deadlines
•You see projects through your customer lens, and have the confidence to challenge when something doesn’t feel right
•You have developed the ability to break it down to the vital basics, which ensures easy and effective understanding of changes or initiatives at all levels
•You can see the bigger picture and can easily adapt to changing priorities and situations
•You have a flexible approach to Business Partnering and can pitch in to support wider team activities 

What you’ll need:

 •A passion for the world of retail health and beauty
•A good understanding of current employment law and a keen interest in staying up to date with what’s going on in the market and how that may impact us
•Good digital literacy and an interest in learning new systems to drive efficiency
