As the Junior Product Owner, the Primary purpose for this role is own a specific functional area of the Customer & Digital IT proposition. Being responsible for all innovation, end to end lifecycle of projects & features including priority setting, business analysis, design / user experience and ultimately providing a stable, supportable portfolio of solutions / improvements.
A typical day in this role includes:
Primary responsibility for this specific PO role is within the Customer area… relating to the customer data capture / management and analysis on the Superdrug and Savers Hybris website platform / Mobile App and associated CRM systems (including bricks & mortar store processes) but may be required to work on other areas from time to time should resource / capacity require.
You will be expected to become fully immersed in the specific area of focus within the business, liaising with business product owner counterparts to co-manage the development and strategy roadmap of this area. Coaching the business/commercial teams when required and ultimately driving the area to help hit key business / technical KPI’s.
To Collaborate with customer & commercial teams to co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.
To lead and coach the product(s) functional strategy based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
To analyse data driven insights into products with actionable outcomes.
To work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, test planning, implementation, and post implementation support / handover.
Working in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing the business needs, refining priorities, identifying milestones and deliverables… most importantly… ability to identify business and technical opportunities and risks, to highlight these to the business and drive appropriate action.
To own, and develop the specified product roadmap, ensure fully visible / transparent, up-to-date, and reflective of the current business / technical situation.
To translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

What you’ll need:
Some experience in working closely with a specific customer facing “digital” function and ideally Product development / management / ownership experience thereof.
Established background in launching software to a high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles.
Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of monitoring, e.g., microservices, dashboards, real time alerts, etc.
Require intermediate experience in SQL.
Experience working with a transactional website.
Experience in testing and test planning
Extensive experience of detailed requirements gathering.
