Role Purpose:


The primary purpose of the role is to work with the Regional People Business Partner in delivering the People strategy across the greater London area East Anglia, Kent, and South Coast (Field Based). They will support the development of regional people strategy and take ownership to deliver key aspects of the strategy. The primary focuses will relate to talent management, raising leadership capability, driving the colleague engagement agenda and supporting the successful implementation of key people related projects.

The Associate Business Partner will primarily do this by partnering with Store and Area Managers across regions to lead, engage and develop their people through coaching, best practice sharing and implementing best practice people processes. They will also work with the centralised specialist functions on specific projects to support the broader retail people strategy.

Here's the exciting bit…a day includes

· Support the People Business Partner to deliver the regional people strategy
· To work with our Store Management and central Talent team to review and improve recruitment and selection processes ensuring we recruit the best talent
· To play an active role in supporting the successful launch of new stores on the region
· Support the Business Partner in delivering the talent & succession activity across the region, drive actions for the development of high potential colleagues to support internal succession and career progression
· To champion initiatives that drive and reinforce engagement and recognition, utilising the available data and harnessing the appropriate communication channels.
· Support the delivery of learning interventions and cascading key business information e.g. leadership training and attending regional meetings
· To Input into and support the delivery of people related projects as required
· To support the central Employee Relations team with complex case management

What you’ll need:

· You have a HR generalist background, gained by working in a fast paced and commercial environment, and ideally within a field-based role.
· Be qualified CIPD level 5 or working towards this qualification
· Have high levels of digital literacy and experience with in working with HR information systems
· Be comfortable with interpreting data, drawing out insights and turning them into meaningful actions
· You will have working knowledge of developing and delivering people processes in a multi- site environment
· Your leadership experience will have equipped you to effectively partner key stakeholders to deliver the people agenda across a large population and geographical area
