Our Transport Roles
Transport Manager
The Transport Manager leads a team of Transport and Logistics professionals by creating a collaborative environment to deliver great products to our stores and customers. This role fosters a culture of health and safety whilst managing daily transport activities and ensuring personal development for team members. The Transport Manager is responsible for overseeing all our transport operations, ensuring timely store deliveries, and manages relationships with driver agencies and maintenance providers. The role includes ensuring legal compliance for vehicle maintenance, health and safety accountability, and monitoring driver qualifications and performance.
Transport Team Leader
The Transport Team Leader is responsible for motivating and inspiring the Transport team to deliver great results for our stores and customers, ensuring processes are carried out safely and efficiently. Collaboratively working with the Transport Manager and Transport Operators to ensure deliveries to our retail stores are timely to maximize availability and sales. The Transport Team Leader's accountabilities include managing daily transport operations, motivating and developing team members and ensuring compliance with our health and safety standards. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting others to achieve their best and inspiring great results.
Transport Operator
The Transport Operator is an important role for making sure we deliver products on time and to the right location, managing our fleet of vehicles, and working closely with the Transport Planning Team to help make our delivery routes as efficient as possible. This role is responsible for issuing delivery instructions to our HGV Drivers and HGV Driver Mates, debriefing them, optimising resources and liaising with the warehouse operations teams to ensure a seamless delivery process is achieved. This role is perfect for someone who loves to be planned and organised as well as enjoys coaching others to deliver great results for customers.
HGV Driver
The HGV Driver position is responsible for delivering our fantastic products to stores safely and efficiently. Our teams of highly skilled HGV Drivers are critical to ensuring that our products get the right place at the right time whilst making sure they keep themselves and members of the public safe whilst on the road. HGV Drivers work collaboratively with store teams and HGV Driver Mates to deliver products at varying times of day to multiple locations. This role is great for some who is motivated to deliver an outstanding service, knowing that their efforts will be putting a smile on customers faces.
HGV Driver Mate
The HGV Driver Mate plays an important role in assisting the HGV Driver with various tasks when delivering products to our stores, making sure we do this in a safe and efficient way. This role is responsible for helping to load and unload our products from our vehicles and delivering them directly into our stores. The HGV Driver is also responsible for following the correct security procedures when delivering to our stores and making sure products are located and secured in the most efficient way for our store teams to access. This role is great for some who enjoys collaborating with others and working as part of a team to deliver an outstanding service, knowing that their efforts will be putting a smile on customers faces.

Distribution Centre Manager
The Distribution Centre Manager leads a team of supply chain professionals by creating a collaborative environment to deliver great products to our stores and customers. This includes inspiring teams members to meet key performance indicators, working with the senior leadership team to deliver the distribution strategy, whilst coaching and developing team members to reach their goals. The DCM is also responsible for ensuring clear communication of objectives, driving health and safety standards across their site, as well as implementing and managing the overall budget. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about helping team members deliver great results.
Shift Manager
The Shift Manager is responsible for providing leadership, coaching, and direction to site management teams, inspiring others to deliver for our stores and customers. This role is an ambassador for health and safety practices, ensuring we have a safe working environment for everyone. The Shift Manager brings everyone together as one team to ensure that operational efficiencies are identified and achieved. They oversee every aspect of the distribution centre to make sure each department and area is able to work in harmony, whilst leading learning and development opportunities for team members to grow into their next role.
Team Leader
The Team Leader role supports the Shift Manager by leading teams within a designated area of the distribution centre, supporting our Warehouse Operatives and Super Users to achieve their goals. This role actively ensures the health & safety practices on site are well understood and managed, promoting good practices and procedures with every team member. A Team Leader motivates and develops their team to deliver for stores and customers. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting others to get the best out of themselves and inspiring great results.
Super User
The Super User is an expert in the processes and procedures within a designated area of the distribution centre. A Super User works directly with our Warehouse Operatives to provide coaching and guidance to support them in achieving their goals. This role inspires others by passing on their experience and expertise, educating best practise and continuously improving efficiency across a variety of different departments. A Super User supports the management team to promote health and safety practices on site, whilst ensuring that all team members are properly communicated daily. This role is perfect for someone who puts the customer at the centre of what they do and loves to coach others to deliver great results.
Warehouse Operative
The Warehouse Operative position is responsible for picking store and customer orders accurately, safely, and on time. The Distribution Centre is a fast-paced work environment, and this role is at the heart of everything we do to deliver for stores and our customers. Being a Warehouse Operative means you are motivated to reach your goals and deliver great results, whether that be working independently or as part of a wider team. Team members who work in this role always put the health and safety of themselves and others first, whilst going the extra mile to help reduce waste and shrinkage during their day-to-day activities. This role is great for some who is motivated to deliver inspiring results, knowing that their efforts will be putting a smile on customers faces.
